Mechanical Have been rebuilt. The VIN number on the block was partially
removed when a machine shop decked the block. A couple of numbers are
visible and do line up with the VIN on the car. Matching numbers 375 HP

Hubler Chevrolet in Pinckneyville, Illinois. Conformation From First
Owner, Jake Bender Jr. Conformation from Second Owner in '78, Bobby Joe
Fisher. I have never seen anything like this car. It blows my mind, the
incredible condition and that it is so original. It is amazing that an
LS6 can survive for 37 years and be so unmolested. It is obvious that
this car was babied it's whole life. The original interior shows almost
no wear. The drivers door panel is the worst. The original vinyl top has
no rust lumps, no pull or tears. Even the original exterior chrome is in
great shape. The original paint has a few stone chips and a cracked spot
on the drivers side of the induction hood. But as you can see from the
pictures, overall the paint is in amazing condition. This car must have
been waxed hundreds of times in it's life. When we were waxing the car
we were unable to find any indications that there was any paint work
done anywhere. Other that a few rock chips hit with touch up, the paint
is all original. Under the hood is untouched. We just used Windex to
wipe off the dust and it looks maybe two years old under there. And
everything is still there, down to the original spark plug shields.
Check out the windshield wiper fluid level indicator on top of the
washer bottle. There is an washer fluid indicator light on the dash.

1967 Mustang Fastback, S
code. Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Overhead Console, Air
Conditioning, New Tremic 5 Speed. This car has received an complete nut
& bolt restoration. The body has been stripped to bare metal. Extensive
blocking has produced a razor straight body. The motor has only
been bored once to 30 over stock and the crank was not cut. The rotating
assembly was spun balanced. All the necessary parts have been replaced:
Melling oil pump, Cloyes true double roller timing chain, Crane cam &
lifters, water pump, alternator, PS pump, Holly 670 Street Avenger, etc.
The heads have been completely redone. The distributor is a
rebuilt stock unit with a Petronix Igniter. All of the mechanical
systems on the entire car have been rebuilt. All the front &
rear suspension is new including all of the steering components. The
original 3:25 posi carrier has been replaced with a Currier 3:50 posi carrier
to better match the 5 speed. The fully welded exhaust has FlowMaster mufflers
attached to Hedman headers. The factory air box behind the dash has been
replaced by a Vintage Air unit hooked to the factory A/C compressor
under the hood. This was done to keep thing stock looking under the
hood. The Cobra LeMans valve covers are the real deal, not
reproductions! We have install Shelby style traction bars to stop the
wheel hop. These are the weld on tubular type, not the bolt on
square cheap O's. The raised white letter tires are Firestone Firehawk
Indy 500's mounted on new 15 inch Style Steel wheels. All of the
Interior is new. Under the new carpet is Mylar faced insulation with
extra Dynamat on the tranny hump to reduce heat & noise. Every last
piece of chrome, stainless & trim on the interior & exterior of this car
is new. With the Tremic 5 speed, the motor is only turning 1800 RPM's at
70 miles per hour! This car is built to Drive to the shows and take home
the trophies! |

interior were restored approximately three years ago. The suspension,
engine, transmission and A/C system were rebuilt about a year and a half
ago. The mechanical systems of this car are in excellent condition. The
car runs and drives great. The paint job does have some small
imperfections. One spot in particular is the fiberglass Ram Air Hood.
These hoods tend to flex around the air intakes. |

1971 Oldsmobile 442, 4
speed, Power Steering & Brakes, Cold Factory A/C. This car probably is a
real W-30. The car didn't come with a build sheet so the only way to
tell is options. The car has a real steel Ram Air hood, not the
fiberglass reproduction. The hood alone is worth around five grand! The
car has Plastic front inner fenders, W-27 Rear end cover. All though we
are replacing all of the emblems, the one that came to us on the car are
original W-30 emblems. We have all the receipts from the late '80's
until present. The motor was rebuilt less that 10,000 miles ago. The
suspension, transmission, were all just redone. The Hurst shifter, ring
& pinion & posi unit are new. The A/C system was just rebuilt and blows
cold. All the exterior chrome was just recently replaced. The interior
was done around the same time as the engine. We are recovering with the
factory correct covers, the front buckets. It looks like someone sat in
the drivers seat with a screw driver in there back pocket and popped a
hole in the seat. We are doing both buckets so they will match. The car
came to us with white paint and black stripes. The paint is about 20
years old. We have removed the old paint and have extensively primer
blocked the body. We should be starting the paint process very soon. The
car was originally Sterling Silver. We are going to be around $27,000.00
on this car. |
